In the season two finale, Eddie learns the subtleties of Szechuan cooking from a master chef, visits the sculpture factory of artist Deng Le, and climbs into a tree-house parlor to discover an appreciation for the delicate hand motions of Taiwanese tea pouring. He spends his time with different generations of Chinese to discuss cultural preservation as China moves forward and becomes open to the rest of the world.
